Position Purpose
Establishing, developing and managing the digital marketing activities within WeConnect Energy.
Assisting the leadership team with a range of Marketing initiatives and helping to establish our newly created brand (WeConnect Energy), long-term.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ongoing research, development and implementation for marketing/digital marketing strategies.
Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to SEM, PPC, SEO, social media marketing, email marketing and content marketing.
Social media management. You’ll help create compelling content, including blog posts, videos and infographics to drive engagement and follower numbers.
Manage the company's website and online portals and platforms, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimised for search engines.
Manage CRM and work with the Sales team to extract the most value from it to support sales plans and goals.
Monitor and analyse KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements. Create and update relevant reports within the relevant platforms.
Manage and create email nurturing campaigns and lead scoring activities.
Work and manage relevant external agency support where necessary.

Create and distribute valuable and relevant content that supports our brand messaging applied across all marketing channels, including digital and offline. A creative mindset with the ability to think ‘outside the box’ and develop innovative marketing campaigns. Regularly measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of our efforts via relevant metrics.

We need someone who can think big, but also deliver on the details. Someone who is not afraid to create + iterate until they get processes, Maintaining, improving and raising.
Communications
Successfully communicate internally and externally through integrated communication strategies including media releases, organised events, marketing collateral. With such a public responsibility (social media), you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
Personal Effectiveness and Commitment
High enthusiasm for the role, sharp attention to detail, shows discretion when handling confidential data and willingness to use initiative to make improvements, resolve issues and to always go the extra mile. A can-do attitude and someone willing to pitch in across a range of Marketing asks (you will make up a team of two Marketers!

Skills & Experience
Worked in a Digital Marketing or Marketing role for 2+ years, this is essential.
Brand development and brand management experience.
Demonstrable experience in digital marketing techniques, particularly utilising a CRM/Email nurturing, social media management, PPC platforms, Google Ads, Looker Studio, Power BI.
Experienced and comfortable with a content creation platform such as Canva or equivalent.
Creative and highly competent in the creation of engaging communications.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple demands at the same time as producing a consistently high standard of work.
A proven and positive track record of Social Media Management.
SEO Confident - perform comprehensive website audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building to enhance organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic.

Some bonus points if you have demonstratable skills:

  • Adobe creative suite, CorelDraw or Graphic Design skills in general.
  • Photography/Videography skills.
  • Have worked in Recruitment Marketing or within the Energy sector.
  • SEMRush or Webflow expertise.
  • ABM or Growth Hacking Experience
  • Experience in a Sales Support or Data Intelligence Role
  • AI/ML experience.
