Sitting within the Universities IT service department, as Business Analyst you will be sitting on the Change and improvement portfolio in which you will be supporting the University with technology led change.
Main purpose of the job
- Provides a business analysis service primarily to ISD projects and change initiatives.
- Working with a broad range of stakeholders – including users of the service / process, ISD Service Owners and project delivery teams – to support the full project delivery lifecycle.
- Responsible for supporting business case and project scope definition,
- Documenting and analysing current ‘as-is’ business services and processes
- Developing a comprehensive set of requirement.
- Working with the technical teams to design and develop a suitable solution and a more effective ‘to-be’ service / process model.
- To support the Universities user community in defining their needs.
- Working towards improving operating efficiency across key business processes
- To support the ISD projects in implementing change in line with the Universities strategic objectives.
