The Role & Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst working within the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) space, your primary focus will be on Shawbrook's strategic digital agenda, process improvement, and efficiencies.
Your main responsibility will be to analyze and assess the current processes and systems in place, identifying areas for improvement. You will work closely with various teams including Business Analysts, Product Management, Product Design, Data, Technology, Operations, Risk, and other key stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions that enhance the customer and colleague journeys.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You'll interact with different teams across the organization, including Product, Operations, Risk, and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Your ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with these stakeholders will be crucial in implementing optimal solutions.
Being a self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and delivery is also important. You should proactively take ownership of your work and drive it forward, ensuring that projects and initiatives are completed successfully.
Your role as a Business Analyst will involve analyzing and improving processes, collaborating with various teams, managing stakeholders, and contributing to Shawbrook's strategic digital agenda within the SME, and saving areas of the business.
The Person
Delivery in Product : You should have a deep understanding of AGILE ceremonies and be familiar with the expectations and delivery within a product environment. This knowledge will enable you to effectively contribute to product development processes and ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
Proven communication: You will be working in a cross-functional environment with various stakeholders. You will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from different teams and departments, including business analysts, product managers, designers, developers, and other key stakeholders. Your ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and convey information effectively will be vital in navigating this diverse stakeholder landscape.
Execution: With your inquisitive nature, you should be able to independently perform gap analysis and research to identify areas for improvement and drive change within the business. Taking ownership of your work and delivering results will be key to achieving success in this role.
Leading others through the change cycle: This involves not only driving change yourself but also inspiring and guiding others to strive for solutions and overcome roadblocks that may arise throughout the process. Your ability to influence others, and knack for problem-solving will be crucial in leading the change efforts and ensuring successful outcomes.
