As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll be at the very heart of delivering key systems that help our Homes’ customers to prosper and get the most out of their Mortgage with Santander. You’ll be part of a close-knit Product Team, working with a wide range of stakeholders to drive out our transformation initiatives in the Homes division, focussing on Mortgage Account Servicing activities.

Whether this is understanding requirements or complex problems, you will be focussed on turning ideas into well-designed solutions. You’ll be able to the forefront of our software delivery process, ensuring quality is top priority.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Understanding the vision and detailed requirements from the business.
  • Asking the right questions & gathering relevant information from appropriate sources.
  • Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across Product Owner, Developers, Testers, UX, Infrastructure, other domains, etc.
  • Analysing complex system architecture, logic & rules to help design the solution.
  • Translating requirements into user stories for development teams to work through.
  • Supporting queries from development & testing teams in order to ensure solution delivered meets requirements.

What you’ll bring.

  • Proven experience as a Technical / Business analyst within product teams or wider programs or projects of software delivery work.
  • Being a self motivated team player with the communication and collaboration skills to keep our team productive and fun – taking pride in the quality of your work and driving change forward.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience of working within Agile product teams, utilising key tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience of mainframe IT solutions.
  • Experience of the Financial Industry, specifically Retail and Mortgages .

What else you need to know.

We will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to travel to the Milton Keynes office as and when required (2-3 days per week)

This is a permanent position.
