As a Business Analyst, you will work within the Change Management team in the Saga Insurance business unit at an exciting period of growth and investment. Working as part of an exciting change team, you will provide Business Analysis to drive through successful change into our Insurance and Claims businesses. This may take the form of analysing requirements of new/changed product and systems offerings or strategic change to any part of the business and undertaking process reviews and re-engineering.
You will be curious, like a challenge and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels as well as great systems knowledge within the Insurance sector.

Main Responsibilities- Work within Change Management team to effectively manage the requirements engineering process and business analysis so that all requirements are accurately documented and communicated to stakeholders and development teams with no ambiguity
- Analysing business data to identify trends and opportunities as part of continuous improvement
- Being business solution focused, evaluating multiple options before helping the project team settle on a solution, recommending ways to tackle a task where relevant , therefore avoiding unnecessary application development where possible.
- Identifying system and operational process gaps, pro-actively raising these to the relevant department and support in the creation of their change requests if required
- Demonstrating and maintaining a logical approach to problem solving
- Facilitating effective workshops and meetings by asking the right questions to draw out requirements and solutions
- Business process engineering with efficiency and lean disciplines for approved changes
- Supporting Project Managers and Scrum Teams within Change where additional analysis is required
- Provide first line of contact between business and development teams both during the requirements engineering process and through the development lifecycle.
- Experience with processes and/or systems relevant to the Saga Insurance and Claims Group.
- Insurance and/or Claims experience preferred.
- Proven experience of Process modelling and engineering.
- Experience of Business Analysis/ requirement gathering.
- Stakeholder management.

- Relevant Project or Business Analysis qualifications or willingness to learn.
