About the role

Working on a global basis the role provides an opportunity for a business analyst to work with a team of service managers supporting technology products related to employee services to include intranets, joiners/movers/leavers, onboarding and off boarding and technologies to support the automation of employee services.

This role is accountable for supporting the Lead Service Manager for Employee Services to manage identified business outcomes, metrics and balancing product maintenance and innovation, striking the balance of change with the need for continuous improvement and service levels.

Key roles and responsibilities

We are looking for a business analyst to join our team and help us deliver innovative solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements from various sources, such as interviews, surveys, workshops, and documents.
  • Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as developers, testers, project managers, and end-users, to ensure alignment and quality of deliverables.
  • Supporting the testing, deployment, and maintenance of solutions, as well as providing training and documentation to users.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance and outcomes of solutions, as well as identifying and resolving issues and gaps.

Key skills and competencies

Required

  • Good number of years of experience as a business analyst or a similar role in a software development or IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as BABOK, Agile, Scrum, and Jira.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • A proactive, collaborative, and customer-oriented attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Conducting business process modeling, data modeling, and system analysis using various tools and techniques
