What you'll do
You’ll support our bank to achieve customer advocacy by eliciting and understanding the internal and external technology needs of our customers and analysing, refining, synthesising, translating and ensuring they're documented in a form that can be readily understood by all stakeholders.
Alongside this, you’ll:
- Support others to articulate the ideas and requirements in the format required by your team, such as use cases, user journeys, user stories and illustrations
- Produce business requirements to inform future state design and help teams to understand the requirements and their linkages to the overall strategy
- Work across teams and stakeholders to capture, validate and document business and system requirements
- Interact with customers, key stakeholders and your team to obtain and document our functional and non-functional needs
The skills you'll need
To take on this role, you’ll need an appropriate business analyst certification. You'll need experience of business and data analysis and SQL skills that've been developed from a Financial Crime function or Financial Services domain.
Additionally, you'll understand how to navigate around requirements, data specifications and designs to build an understanding of the data journey, transformations, usage and business impact.
Furthermore, you’ll need:
- The ability to document data analysis outcomes and create presentations for stakeholders and handover to other teams
- Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
- An understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies with experience of working within an Agile environment
- To be a very capable communicator and have the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
