Corporate Systems and Business Analysis within IT Services is seeking to recruit a Business Analyst

The role is part of a team of 14 IT professionals that supports, develops and maintains the University corporate information systems to meet the agreed strategic and operational needs. The initial focus of this job will working on a strategic programme supporting the improvement of the University’s research management operations.
The team provides business analysis, software development, application support and systems management to a range of corporate IT systems, working closely with managers and professionals from across the university in a collaborative approach.

To be able to undertake this role you will:
- Have experience of working and delivering systems in a complex environment/organisation.
- Have worked through the business analysis life cycle, covering strategic understanding, analysis of process, workforce, data & user impact, documentation & modelling, implementation, support, and change management.
- Have a working knowledge of business analysis techniques, solution design, and software testing & release.
- Work closely with colleagues in IT Services, Organisational Development and the operational services such as the Research and Innovation Office.
- Be ready to engage with new systems/services and want to develop your professional skills
