What do we offer you?
Business Analyst
We have a hybrid working model, where you can work 60% from home, with the rest of your time being flexibly based at our brand new, sustainable head office in Leeds city centre, just 5 minutes' walk from the train station.
We offer a competitive rewards package including:
- A generous colleague bonus of up to 12%
- Matched pension contributions of up to 10%
- 26 days holiday, plus holiday purchase scheme
- Development opportunities
- Volunteering days
Our friendly, supportive culture will help you be the best you can be — now and in the future.
About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst who is looking for a new challenge and is proactive and passionate about making a difference in a financial services environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Savings delivery stream where you can add value to many concurrent smaller scale projects that will improve our customer and colleague experience, particularly around workflow automation.
Working within one of our Agile Squads you will work closely with Product Owners performing end to end business analysis, gathering business requirements and converting these requirements for the rest of the Squad to develop and deliver. You will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure your analysis is robust and proportionate for the change in question.
What will you bring to the role?
- We are looking for an all-round business analysis skill set.
- You will have good knowledge of the business analysis lifecycle (e.g from requirements gathering to business readiness and delivery). Experience of requirements gathering and converting this into requirements that an Agile Squad can deliver are the most important aspects.
- You will have gained experience of working across several business functions and are adept at understanding business concepts.
- Ideally, you will have worked on complex problems which require the management of multiple stakeholders.
- Great people skills, proactivity and an agile mindset are essential to excel in the role. A practical understanding of agile methodology and frameworks is advantageous but an agile mindset is more important.
- BCS qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Financial/banking sector experience is desirable but not essential.
