Job description
You will be working closely with our Director of Operations to complete tasks such as:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users.
- Support the ERP and CRM systems, and collaborative software applications, as well as collaborating with IT to optimize Google Workspace applications.
- Create and maintain reporting systems from SaaS-generated data to management stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business, IT, economics, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to convey complex technical knowledge to non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience with Jira, MAKE, and/or Google Workspace
Perks, Compensation, and Benefits:
As a contractor, you will be compensated on an hourly basis based on experience and skills, between
$30/hr - $40/hr CAD. The use of the shop space is open to all employees and contractors for
personal projects. This is a role that will be hybrid working in and out of the office, or remotely for the
right candidate. We often have company lunches and potlucks and other group activities that you
are welcome to join in on.
