Job description
Responsible/accountable for oversight of data base and analysis of department systems to ensure data integrity. Provides accurate and timely reporting on an ongoing basis to assist in collecting and/or distribution of reports or data. Works collaboratively with Director, Physicians, and other departments / internal and external customers to ensure reports meet all business needs. Serves as a liaison to Software companies and both internal and external Informatics Departments. This position collaborates with internal and external Informatics Departments to assure that data bases are up-to-date as well as assist in the implementation of new modules for the data bases.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides daily maintenance and support for data base information and the analysis of such data.
- Acts as the direct liaison to internal and external Informatics Departments with regards to data bases.
- Communicates software changes with Director and staff; provides staff in-services and education with updates or revisions to the data bases on an ongoing basis.
- Develops and run ad-hoc or scheduled reports for the required / necessary internal / external customers.
- Develops and maintains processes within the credentialing data base for the timely and efficient processing of initial and reappointment applications.
- Develops new forms, letters, and reports using Crystal Reports in collaboration with Director.
- Responsible for assuring integrity of information being input into data base.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of data base and business analysis experience.
Education
- Associates degree or two (2) years of experience in a directly related field. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Knowledge of Microsoft applications.- Knowledge of crystal reporting and informatics.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in adaptability, interpersonal relationships, oral communication, change management, problem solving, conflict resolution, systems thinking, team building, decision making, lean processes, written communication, and outstanding customer service.
- Able to obtain Medical Staff Office Web (MSOW) certification within one (1) year of hire.
- Credentialing data base knowledge and experience
- Bachelors degree in database/business analysis.
