About this role:

Are you passionate about helping JET gain valuable insight into the causes of problems, clarifying uncertainty and recommending how to move forward? Do you enjoy working with colleagues in different teams to understand, elicit and articulate what they require and propose options to deliver it?

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join JET, someone with an inquisitive mind, who can work with colleagues in all areas of Product and Technology to come up with innovative ways to analyse problem spaces and present options to tackle them. You will provide the business with a clear, structured view of how different functions operate and to help turn ideas into reality.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Analyse complex problems and break them down into coherent features, products and projects
• Identify stakeholders and support the Product Manager to ensure engagement as required throughout the project lifecycle
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from all stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and project inceptions with a range of stakeholders
• Analyse potential solutions and collaborate with Technology, Product, UX&D and the wider business to ensure the identified problems are solved
• Elicit risks and dependencies and communicate them to the team
• Adapt documentation and acceptance criteria as required depending on the working practices of the team
• Gain subject matter expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

What will you bring to the table?

• An understanding and use of a range of techniques for eliciting and documenting requirements
• A good understanding of a range of Agile delivery methodologies, working with the teams to identify, recommend and support team process improvement
• Take a collaborative approach and foster strong working relationships with all team members including Product Managers, UX, QAs and engineers
• Assimilate information with ease and grasps new technology, tools and processes quickly
• Will be able to understand the technology being used by the team to implement solutions, and will be able to communicate this as required to non-technical stakeholders
• Continue to improve the core BA skill-set and expands knowledge of other disciplines with support and guidance
• Have a knowledge of the non-Technology business areas in order to assess the impact of project changes within the wider business
• A good understanding of the product vision and commercial drivers and be able to communicate these to the team and relevant stakeholders in the absence of the Product Manager
