About the Opportunity
Since 2019 Jacobs has been engaged in supporting one of our large government clients in one of their most challenging and complex transformation journeys ever undertaken. The programme has been designed to consolidate key enabling business functions under a single operating model.
This project provides a challenging and rewarding environment for individuals seeking to grow their experience and understanding of public sector transformation. This will involve:
- Transformation at scale. 20,000 user community, 500 strong programme team
- Complex delivery approach. A hybrid in more than one sense, the programme employs a range of project delivery models while journeying to Scaled Agile.
- We are entering an exciting phase of the programme lifecycle; starting to bring together the busianess processes and enabling technologies for the first phase of integrated testing.
- Ahead of us lies two years of intensive work to implement the desired business changes.
Jacobs currently provide project and programme management expertise as well as business analysis capability to support programme delivery. A key part of this will be for experienced Business Analysts, able to unpick complex business process relationships and drive the client towards simple, coherent solutions.
This role can be based in Manchester, Gloucester or London, and requires the successful applicant to be at client site 3-4 days per week.

- Good emotional intelligence to understand what the client really needs to achieve
- Experience working with the intellegence community
Given the nature of the work that our client does, security is of paramount importance. You will need to be eligible for high level security clearance so will need to have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years.
