Job Description
We are a dynamic company who is growing quickly and are expanding it’s outreach to new markets. Ikou needs a Data Analysts to collect, process, and perform statistical analysis of data and translate the numbers into organized documents, charts, graphs, tables, and graphics across all departments. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing insights that will help our executive team make informed decisions.
Your skill-set is needed to optimize profit, minimize turnover, or streamline logistics by assessing our company’s data including sales numbers, market research, or customer behavior, with the goal of reaching simpler, smarter conclusions, we need technical expertise to stress test the data for quality and accuracy. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with most departments within the organization including sales, customer service, accounting, and logistics.
- Utilize math and spreadsheet skills to analyze key financial data, Investigate and provide feedback on department data irregularities.
- Prepare financial reports, both routine and special requests to decision makers within the organization
- Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding and communicate the data effectively.
- Analyze operations within the organization including trends and performance as directed.
- Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
- Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
- Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
- Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics.
- Monitor data management processes and performance to ensure data quality and consistency.
Data Analyst Requirements:
· 3-5 years experience in data analysis
· Expert knowledge with statistical data and other relevant software
· Critical math skills and a proven ability to perform complex calculations.
- Strong familiarity with productivity tools, for example, primarily Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn our industry and company organization and to utilize information in written reports.
- Comfort preparing and delivering reports and recommendations to decision makers.
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Reporting and data visualization skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment and individually.
- A completed bachelor’s degree in a field like mathematics, statistics, economics, finance is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
