Contract: 11 months FTC
Our FTSE listed Client is in the midst of implementing SuccessFactors globally and is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their workstream implementation team to provide support to the Workstream Implementation Leads
The Role:
- Supporting the design of best practice new processes for the functional module
- Supporting the successful implementation of these new processes and technologies into the business to realise target benefits
Process Design. To support the Process lead, Performance & Succession in:
- Mapping of current state processes, policies and business rules
- Gather and document of all end-state processes, policies and business rules (keeping to the solution “vanilla” / best-practice process)
- Gather and document of any additional future business functional requirements (including all reporting definition)
- Developing and documenting workarounds or process alternatives when original requirements cannot be met
- Gather and document the non-functional requirements of the future solution
- Identify and document proposed policy & process changes and additions required to make the to-be design vanilla
- Support the Training Manager to produce a change & impact analysis based on the agreed documents and proposed policy & process changes and additions
Stakeholder Management:
- Identifying and engaging stakeholder groups to support design/ review/ sign off
- Holding workshops with relevant stakeholders to agree design/ review/ sign off
- Ensure GPO (Global process Owner) reviews and signs off for all major design decisions
- Manage relationships effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
System Development:
- Development and documentation of a set of end-to-end business scenarios and all associated testing scripts – ensuring these are traceable to business requirements.
- Identification and co-ordination of user resources to execute UAT
Implementation:
- Identify, plan and implement people, process, policy and organisation change required for successful implementation
- Support the management and delivery of associated implementation and change management across relevant business areas, such as supporting training delivery
- To work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure ongoing alignment to proposed changes, understanding and ownership of change impacts.
- Contribute to operations manuals and training materials as required.
- To design, plan and implement appropriate post Go-Live Support mechanisms and ensure successful handover to BAU.
Project Management:
- Creating detailed project plans to achieve all activities and deliverables in line with programme standards.
- Manage delivery of activities vs plan
- Providing weekly status reports in line with programme standards.
- Ensure integration and dependency management with other business design workstreams
- Managing all risks, issues, actions and dependencies in line with programme standards, escalating as appropriate for resolution

- Support and role model effective team-working and collaborative behaviours with all members of the team and the wider business.
The Person:
- Degree educated, or equivalent
- Previous HRIS Business analyst experience, ideally in a HR systems implementation context
Technical Skills
- Previous requirements documentation (e.g. in Configuration Workbooks)
- Process Mapping experience
- Stakeholder management
Systems Skills
- Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Visio skills are essential
- Understanding of enabling HR technology and processes (SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle)
- Understanding of HR specialist processes, Succession Planning, Reward, Learning system requirements and policies
- Project management
- Excellent attention to detail and a drive for perfection
