Job Description:

    • 6-10 years of experience in a business analysis function in Banking and Financial services domain (preferably European Banking) .
    • Demonstrate deep knowledge and experience around Commercial, Investments, Retail, and Corporate Banking
    • Working knowledge of Securities transactions (Orders, Corporate actions, savings plan etc.), Credit transactions (Origination, servicing, collections and recovery etc.) and Payment transactions(Cards, direct debits, credit transfers, and cheques etc.) management
    • Strong Requirements Gathering and Analysis expertise through usage of techniques such as Process Modelling, Use Cases and document business requirements to ensure completeness, relevance, and accuracy.
    • Hands on experience in BA documentation, BRD, SRS, test case documentation and Use Case documentation
    • Database skill - SQL
    • Should have experience in identifying root cause analysis, impact analysis, gap analysis, requirements reengineering and define problem and solution statements
    • Should have experience of working in Agile methodologies using SCRUM framework, creating Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Product/Process Backlog.
    • Proficient with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and advanced Excel.
    • Good to have knowledge or experience with the regulations and policies of EBA (European banking authority).
    • Good to have ‘European Foundation Certificate in Banking (EFCB)’

Job responsibilities

    • Understand and analyze existing complex IT applications and business processes to create business functionality documentation.
    • Work closely with the SMEs, Product owners, Product managers, and End users to acquire the application specific business knowledge.
    • Create context data flow diagrams to identify interfaces, data flows, and high-level processes associated with the existing applications and new projects.
    • Captures both functional and non-functional (i.e, life cycle cost, performance, and/or flexibility) business requirements on how the system should work over time.
    • Work closely with the development team providing business and functional guidance to help build the right product.
    • Coordinate with testing team during various phases of testing and represent end-users in the UAT phase.
    • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
    • If needed perform system integration testing.
