If so, then you will be interested in joining the Engagement and Digital Innovation team as a Business Analyst.
This is an exciting time to join the team as the successful Analysts will be involved in a variety of projects, which span across East Sussex County Council. A typical day in the life of a Business Analyst involves building and maintaining relationships with our stakeholders, understanding what our stakeholders do or how they use a system, and analysing any benefits or issues with those benefits or systems.
Previous projects have been to migrate users from Skype to Microsoft Teams, procuring and delivering a new Adoption system for Children’s Services and identifying potential areas for Automation.
We are offering hybrid working arrangements, primarily working from home but with the opportunity to work with the team in our Lewes office.

- Stakeholder engagement and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with other teams and departments within East Sussex County Council and our partner organisations.
- Time organisation: Ability to organise and prioritise your own work to meet deadlines
- Process Analysis: Ability to analyse business processes to understand customer needs.
- Requirements Analysis: Gathering requirements using different tools and techniques, such as workshops, and documenting this in a clear and concise format.
Desirable skills:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, or similar role, relevant qualification e.g. BCS Diploma.
- Previous experience and knowledge of analysis techniques, such as SWOT analysis and process modelling/flows.

Additional InformationYour starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
