As an IT Business Analyst, you will translate high level business requirements into detailed project documentation that can be used by developers, product owners, and end users. Some of your key tasks will include understanding business requirements and priorities, creating and refining Spiceworks tickets to reflect development requirements, creating user documentation, and translating complex cases into well-defined technical and functional specifications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Managing requirements incoming from users, enabling the development team to progress with their sprint cycles.
  • Ensuring features and stories are technically feasible, well defined with an agreed acceptance criteria
  • Working closely with business stakeholders, build an understanding of solution and documentation gaps
  • Owning the refreshing of functional and non-functional documentation
  • Analysing data & processes to update programme documents
  • Promoting continuous improvement of documentation across the programme team
  • ISO 27001 implementation experience.
  • GAP Analysis, SWOT

Requirements:

1. You have at least 5 years commercial experience within a Business Analyst role previously (requirement gathering, user stories, technical documentation etc.)

2. Agile project management experience.

3. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills

4. Be able to solve problems through critical thinking

5. A blend of technical and business analysis experience

6. Strong analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems, and systems, into smaller components

7. Strong understanding of data and data flows

8. Experience in documenting complex data processes, including the creation of data lineage and process flow diagrams

9. Experience of SQL data processes and web-based systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
