We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our enterprise wide transformation programme at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
What you’ll do
At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Business Analyst you too will play an integral part in what we do.
You will apply industry leading business analysis tools and techniques to projects, acting as the interface between the business and the technology teams.
Through skilled analysis you will diagnose problems and look for opportunities to make improvements, providing stakeholders at all levels with the information needed to make informed decisions. You will ensure the right solution is delivered by capturing detailed business requirements and modelling the to-be states – including processes, data, systems and people.
As our Business Analyst you will:
- Work with business teams, vendors and technology teams to elicit, prioritise and communicate the functional and non-functional requirements.
- You will evaluate potential solutions against the requirements captured, making recommendations based upon their alignment to operational, budgetary, technical and regulatory considerations.
- You can use the most appropriate tools and techniques to support the planning, analysis, development, testing, implementation and improvement of products and services.
- You will contribute to project plans by helping to define the analysis approach and providing estimates for work packages.
- Create and maintain any materials that reinforce the transition to the desired business outcomes (e.g. business requirements documents, process flows, wireframes, data analysis, design specifications, test plans etc.)
- Quantify potential business benefits and contribute to business case development.
- Use business process modelling and analysis (BPMA) tools, methods and standards, such as Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), to fully obtain information about what capabilities the business needs.
- Complete gap analysis of the existing business process catalogue and identify pain points and optimisation opportunities
Who you’ll be
This role is for you if you have experience of working in large transformation programmes or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:
- a self-starter who is proactive and self-motivated, someone who takes responsibility and pride in their work.
- you must be able to communicate at all levels in simplistic non-technical terms,
- you must be comfortable to challenge scope and validate requirements at all times to achieve accuracy.
What’s in it for you
At CAF you will receive:
- Permanent hybrid ways of working where roles allow
- Six weeks holiday plus bank holidays
- A wide range of development opportunities to support personal and professional growth
- Pension scheme with better-than-market employer contribution options
- Social impact benefit schemes
