Interim Lead Business Analyst/Functional Lead
Initial 6 month assignment
London - 3 days in the office (West End)
£700 per day Outside IR35
Must be available immediately
Company Overview: We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of innovation, seeking a talented Lead Business Analyst to join our team.
Our client are embarking on a comprehensive ERP transformation project to optimise our business processes, enhance efficiency, and elevate our overall performance.
Currently in Discovery Phase and Vendor Selection, we are looking for someone with previous experience with ERP Transformation programmes.
You will need to demonstrate strong finance domain knowledge and also have experience with a top tier ERP i.e. SAP, D365, Oracle, Workday etc
This is a highly visible assignment where you will be business partnering with cross functional teams and translating business requirements into actionable and tangible solutions.
Strong business process and system experience will be critical in identifying opportunities for process improvement and change.
You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast paced and ever changing environment and able to adapt to the business needs of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the business analysis efforts for the ERP transformation project, including requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis of current and future state business processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to understand their needs and align project objectives with overall business strategy.
- Utilize your deep understanding of ERP systems and best practices to provide guidance and recommendations on system selection, configuration, and customization.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions to streamline operations.
- Work closely with the project team to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring all requirements are met within established deadlines.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, ensuring the ERP system meets functional and technical specifications.
- Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ERP systems and business process optimization, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
