As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will join the KYC & Onboarding business analysis team, and you will be accountable for collaborating with the business and ensuring the successful capture of requirements/user stories for the new Onboarding workflow application, Jetbridge 2.0. Within this role, you will collaborate with Developers, Testers, Front Office, and Operations colleagues to support planning, delivery, and implementation throughout the Programme.

Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, with 329 years of success, quality, and innovation behind us. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• Providing support to the Head of Analysis & Strategy, helping define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology

  • Participating in the Design process with the Programme Management team to design completion and ensure the functionality/benefits envisaged are delivered
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Development team to articulate requirements, review designs, propose solutions and respond to queries and clarifications
  • Owning the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design, working with test teams and SMEs
  • Engaging with functional or business areas and SMEs to plan migration of users and or transactions
  • Adhering to Group Change control and governance standards, recording and reporting data in the right way

What we’re looking for:
• Understanding of business analysis techniques
  • Proven ability to elicit, document and manage requirements as user stories
  • Experience of owning and managing business requirements from inception to product delivery and the ability to deliver to timescales and deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate you have experience of managing business stakeholders and communicating with a wide array of people, with the ability to negotiate and influence

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of working in a medium to large technology change programme
  • Business Analysis Accreditation(s)
  • Exposure to Pega software or business process management (BPM) applications
  • Awareness of KYC & Onboarding processes and/or applications and Knowledge of Corporate and/or Investment Bank business areas
