Role Summary

Aubay is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Energy client's IT delivery team in the LNG trading division. As the business analyst, you will collaborate closely with IT teams, identifying and documenting business requirements and helping to determine feasible solution options. You will be able to organise and interpret requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders, as part of a global team. The ideal candidate will bring Subject Matter Expertise and domain knowledge in shipping, operations (cargo and voyage data), settlement (finance) and will have experience in IMOS and VIP ( Vesson ) in Freight Trading (LNG/ Crude).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of LNG trading
  • Freight Management experience (LNG/crude)
  • Shipping, operations (cargo and voyage data), settlement/invoicing (finance)
  • IMOS/Veson experience
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools with significant experience in project deliverables including the ability to:
  • Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in Agile project Delivery
  • Experience in project mode and delivering/driving from requirement to live phases of application lifecycle.
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams
  • Experience/knowledge in systems like IMOS, ENDUR, GMAS (Shipping assurance system), RADAR (T&S system) etc.
  • Proficient in operational activities and business strategy.
  • Good to have CCBA or PMI-PBA certification.
