The People Systems team are looking for a Business Analyst to drive improvements and the smooth running of all of our people/HR systems across ASOS.
As a Business Analyst, you will prepare business requirements and document ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes to understand the scope and impact of change to our People Experience Systems.
You will identify, create and facilitate process design changes via business and systems process analysis, and design with focus on quality improvement and data management, integrating new systems and processes with our existing ones.
You will:
- Ensure Process flows, business requirements, functional design is captured in DevOps (VSTS) and kept up to date
- Manage changes to scope and ensure correct level of business challenge to business requirements.
- Support the PM by providing key input to the sprint backlog and proactively prioritise user stories to ensure required functionality is delivered on time
- Collaborate with Product Owners and IT delivery teams to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
- Review test scenarios and scripts whilst supporting SIT and UAT and securing business signoff
- Support high-level and detailed programme planning
- Training support for end-state solution
- Build constructive relationships with Finance, People Experience, IT and the wider business, continuously managing stakeholder expectations
- Challenge the business assumptions so that the delivered solutions meet both their current and future needs
- Support the platform with SME knowledge of the business and its processes
We'd like to meet someone with
- Significant technical understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, business processes, business requirements and UAT methodologies
- Outstanding Stakeholder engagement – maintaining good working relationships with business stakeholders and providing advice and guidance as requested
- The ability to design and understand complex business processes in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to prioritise work items by understanding the benefit and impact
- Ability to develop user acceptance criteria and tests to ensure that full end to end processes are tested
- Displays sense of urgency, focused on achievement of deliverables to the highest quality in a pressured environment
- Workday/HR knowledge along with finance or accounting background, ability to upskill/train colleagues on financial & people processes whilst recommending best practices
- Ability to analyse large data sets, spot trends and reconcile data
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and Visio
- Any HR and/or Workday knowledge will be extremely beneficial
