About the Role:
The role holder will provide specialist professional business analysis for Learning Development Services, ensuring business requirements and processes are gathered, evaluated and benefits realised, using effective techniques, standards, and tools.
Learning Development Services support the design, development and delivery of learning and teaching approaches on campus, in workplaces and by distance learning. We work in partnership with other teams within ARU, and with strategic partners across South-East England. We are currently leading strategic work on our apprenticeship delivery, and in partnership with IT Services and the Registry to deliver an integrated digital and quality approach to learning and teaching across the institution.
The Business Analyst (LDS) will be working on high-profile projects related to the ongoing implementation of the institutional Learning Management System and related digital academic services and projects, and on new projects relating to other areas of our provision. They will carry out detailed analyses, develop business-critical functions and processes, and present options and reports to project leaders and senior staff.
You will have a Degree plus demonstrable professional experience for the role or a relevant professional/degree level qualification (chartered where appropriate) appropriate to the specific role being appointed to plus demonstrable professional experience for the role.
We invite applications from experienced and qualified business analysts in either the IT or Higher Education space, and from graduates or professionals who have built business analyst skills through their studies and practice and would like to move into professional business analysis in a vibrant and diverse institution.
