Business Process Analyst - Maternity Cover Minimum of 12 Months

The Role
As a Business Process Analyst, you will monitor and analyse our current business process to create suggestions for improvements to our strategic and operational efficiency.
Supporting the integration of new businesses, you will use gap analysis to better understand how current business processes differ to established group processes.
Utilising information from your analysis, you will oversee the system improvement process. This will include presenting suggestions, identifying systems and process requirements as well as producing and distributing Standard Operating Procedures for system changes.
Additionally, you will:
- Work with external vendors to understand system capabilities
- Create training sessions and documentation
- Participate in lessons learned workshops
About You
To be considered as a Business Process Analyst, you will need:
- Experience as a business analyst working across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong, demonstrable experience of process change
- Experience of facilitating workshops for requirements gathering
- Extensive process mapping experience
- Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supporting materials
- Experience of supporting IT system implementations, changes and/or migrations
- An understanding of the system development life cycle (Waterfall/Agile methodology)
- Excellent analytical skills with an informed, evidence-based approach
- Senior stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to a range of audiences

A BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis would be beneficial, as would a PRINCE2 Foundation Qualification.
Other organisations may call this role Process Analyst, Business Analyst, Agile Business Analyst, or Business Systems and Process Improvement Analyst.
