An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Admiral Money as a Business Analyst on permanent basis.
Job Overview:
Admiral Money is one of Admiral’s newest and fastest growing departments. We launched into personal loans and car finance in 2017 and have ambitious targets for both.
As part of the Admiral Money technology team, the Business Analyst will work with a range of stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements that can be clearly understood, as well building process maps that will shape the operating model for existing and future product offerings.
The Business Analyst will play a key part in helping Admiral Money deliver regulatory & transformational change with a customer centric approach, ensuring we build the right products for our customers in the right way for our business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their needs
- Ask probing questions to elicit the core business needs from stakeholders, steering them away from jumping straight to solutions
- Analyse user requirements to ensure they are comprehensive and clear
- Clearly identify acceptance criteria for requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops
- Support all stages of the transformation lifecycle
- Support the continuous improvement of processes within the Product team
- Take an active part in transformation governance including team meetings, working groups, programme boards and agile ceremonies as required
- Take part, and sometimes lead, third party discussions to build user requirements & processes
- Complete process mapping for existing and ‘to-be’ processes
- Role will be remote based with some travel required to the office or 3rd party offices
- Build a business analysis plan articulating delivery timelines
Skills:
- Demonstrable experience within a Business Analyst role
- Excellent communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
- Ability to work under pressure on a number of different projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
- Passionate about funding creative solutions, with a positive attitude to change
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Self-starter who has the ability to set up their own structure & approach and drive the plan forward
- Strong aptitude for business process modelling
- Knowledge or experience of Agile methodology
Desirables:
- Experience within financial services
- Working experience of Pancredit

Location
We are working in a hybrid approach and so are in the office once per week in Cardiff. However, we are open to discussing flexibility around this (UK only). We will provide you with everything you need to work comfortably from home.
