Job description
About the role
Our apprentices feel supported, from the moment they join. Their mentor and our dedicated early careers team are always there for them. And our collaborative, people-first culture means that help and support just come naturally. It brings out the very best in them. It'll bring the best out in you too.
We are looking for an Apprentice Business Analyst to join our product development team, working collaboratively to continuously build and develop the products we offer to our customers.
Product Development teams are typically made up of product owners, business analysts, designers, data analysts, software developers, and test engineers who all work closely together across a wide range of products, in a fast-paced, agile environment, which means collaboration is vital.
A business analyst is an interpreter between two worlds: business and technology, bridging the gap of understanding between business and our technology teams. As your skills grow and you develop, you will analyse and understand business needs and define and manage business requirements. You'll play a part in the design and delivery of the development journey, from initial analysis of how customers use our software and the jobs they are doing, through scoping, defining, and prioritising the build requirements, and working with the developers through to release and beyond.
You will become a key communicator and driver of collaboration throughout the development life cycle, collating diverse information from the different teams. You will look deep into problems, pain points, all the granular details and collaborate with the software engineers, making recommendations to solve any problems identified whilst working across a diverse number of exciting projects.
Think of this as a career opportunity that combines the skills and aspects of a Project Manager, Data Analyst, and all-around collaborator with a focus on technology and the customer at the heart of it all.
