Job description

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, economics, statistics)
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and make insights from large amounts of data
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL
Amazon Shipping is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Analysts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex data analysis projects, developing and implementing process improvements, and communicating findings and recommendations to senior management through data visualizations and reports.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the efficiency and performance of our operations. You will work closely with a talented and dynamic team to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize business processes through data-driven insights.

Key job responsibilities
  • Leading complex data analysis projects to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to inform decision making
  • Developing and implementing solutions to optimize business performance
  • Creating data visualizations to communicate findings and monitor performance
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management through presentations and reports
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members in data analysis and process improvement methodologies
  • Assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Master's degree in a related field such as business analytics, economics, or statistics
  • Experience with agile methodologies, including working in Scrum or Kanban teams
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean
