Job description

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering)
  • Previous experience in one of the following areas: Business intelligence or business analytics
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Proven track record of crystallizing out impactful and actionable insight from big data
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets
  • Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing Experience with Oracle, Redshift etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior executives
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to support the marketing team for Amazon Fresh. This position can be located in London, Munich, Paris, Milan or Madrid.

This role requires an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions (like SQL, Excel, Quicksight, Redshift) as well as outstanding business acumen and ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both business owners and other analytics teams. Flexibility, influencing others, and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Your success in the role will have a large impact on improving the customer experience and growing the business. We are an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed and motivated team, working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environment. Key job responsibilities
  • Perform deep-dive and data analysis. Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to inform decision making
  • Build Self-Service BI: Build self-service tools and dashboard that not only gives aggregated metrics but also provide ways to pull most granular data for defect verification, customer communication, deep-dive etc.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Working closely with our data engineering & BI teams to ensure timely delivery of reliable data
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members in data analysis and process improvement methodologies
