About The Role:
Vetting and Compliance Co-ordinator (Human Resources)
As a Vetting & Compliance Administrator within the People Team you will be responsible for the pre-employment screenings of new starters and managing the vetting requirements of our clients. You will work closely with our Academy and Sales Account Managers providing regular updates and ensuring that vetting is completed accurately in line with client requirements. You will build and maintain relationships with our screening vendor to improve productivity and monitor SLAs. This will be a high-volume administrative role with a particular focus on compliance. Therefore, we will require a high level of efficiency, attention to detail and organisation, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out vetting checks for new starters in line with company standards within specified timescales
- Efficiently managing a caseload of vetting requests in line with client requirements whilst meeting tight deadlines
- Effectively communicating with and reporting to relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the vetting process
- Maintaining and building relationships with our external screening vendor to enhance productivity and SLA’s
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Sales Account Managers, ensuring any client vetting issues are appropriately escalated and responded too
- Ensuring the accuracy of vetting data in our people systems and on our vetting trackers
- Ensuring compliance by managing and completing audits in a timely manner
- Accurately managing and maintaining confidential records
- Supporting the wider People Team Operations Team on an ad hoc basis
About You:
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar or administrator role
- Competence with MS Office applications
- Ability to handle challenging conversations
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Works well within team and the wider business
- Able to work autonomously but ask questions and request support when required
- Effective organisation skills with ability to prioritise
- Works well in a high volume environment
- Able to review processes and make improvements where necessary
- Keen to develop and progress within the business
