The Role:
The Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship programme is a fantastic opportunity to learn whilst working, including supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and communicating with key stakeholders. When joining the Brakes Catering Equipment Team as an Administrator Apprentice you will get hands on experience with clients from all around the business and is a great way of progressing towards management responsibilities as part of career development.
Support will be given throughout your apprenticeship with mentors guiding you through the role and continuous development of skills and behaviours to exceed personal goals and business objectives.
The apprenticeship will provide on the job training, where you will apply new skills and knowledge gained to real life operations such as:
- Dealing with all aspects of customer services - chasing deliveries, arranging collections, arranging credits
- Dealing with incoming calls; advise customers on products
- Processing sales orders on a bespoke windows-based system
- Prepare system quotations, source products if not stocked & follow up as required
- Build business relationship with internal/ external customers
- Maintain and monitor quotation and lead files
- Dealing with a variety of customer service enquires and reporting of service calls
Skills and competencies required:
- Excellent customer service or any previous experience in a structured customer sales or telesales environment is preferable but not essential
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- Experience of having worked in a fast moving environment
- Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of team as well as individually
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have a proactive approach, with excellent listening skills with an ability to engage and influence customers.
