An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Business Administration and Support Team (BAST), which supports the senior leadership team and business area senior managers across the Coventry University Group.
The Role
As a Business Administration Manager, you will be an integral member of the BAST management team and will be responsible for leading a team of PAs and administrative support staff within a designated support ‘pod’ (team). You will take overall responsibility for the management, co-ordination and delivery of the work to ensure support is delivered to the highest standards and that the team are able to respond flexibly to changing demands.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have proven, demonstrable experience of providing high level administrative and analytical support to senior staff and/or management. You will need to communicate at all levels and engage with stakeholders to understand their current and future priorities. You will be able to work independently and take the lead on specific areas of work, as well as collaborate within a team to manage multiple tasks and projects all with competing deadlines and to ensure business needs are met. Responsible for helping to develop a high-performance team culture, excellent customer service skills and a willingness to adapt and embrace change will be essential for this role.
