Job Introduction

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop your skills and specialist knowledge in Business Administration.

  • Start Date: September 2023
  • Duration: 18 month programme
  • Salary: £19,500 plus £4,918 London Weighting for those individuals who have London as their primary work base
  • Typically leading to: Permanent role as a Business Assistant, Business Administrator, Team Assistant or Scheduling Assistant
  • Locations: London & Salford
Main Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to virtually study over the duration of 18 months; the first 12 months studying for Level 3 (primary core modules including Communication, Organisation Structure and Strategy, Business Fundamentals, Managing Data, Understanding the Law, Decision Making, Identifying Stakeholders and Building Resilience) plus End Point Assessment.

This apprenticeship will allow you to deepen your knowledge with hands on experience in these areas and develop fundamental competencies which will assist in furthering your understanding of Business Administration and developing your future career pathway.

This apprenticeship is geared to developing your Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in accordance with the apprenticeship standards.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, not only will you gain a Level 3 Business Associate Diploma as well as a professional recognition but you will also become a permanent member of staff within the Business Management community.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be based within BBC business departments in London or Salford (as per your preferred location as part of your learning journey). The allocated departments include the following: BBC Studios, Chief Operating Officer Group, Nations and News & Current Affairs.

This apprenticeship is for those wanting to develop their skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a Business related career and gain a Business Associate Diploma in Business Administration upon completion of the Level 3 programme. In addition, an Institute of Apprenticeship Pass Certification.

  • You must have English and Maths GCSEs at Grade C (4) or above (or equivalent).

  • Have a good eye for detail

Package Description
  • A salary of £19,500 per year per year plus London Weighting for those individuals who have opted for London as their primary work base
