3.5 t Van Driver

Overall Job Purpose: We are assisting our well-established client with their search to find them a 3.5 t Van Driver to deliver building materials to clients in the Exeter area.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and organise your workload to prioritise deliveries to meet customer requirements scheduled on route.
• Update all company documentation accurately.
• Complete vehicle maintenance, safety checks and accurately record/report any defects accordingly (i.e. tire wear, warning lights, noises, damage).
• Always comply to all company policies/procedures (Security, Driving/Transport Standards, Health & Safety).
• Work to specific timescales and deadlines to achieve company targets.

Personal Specifications:

• Experience working as a 3.5t Van Driver, with a strong geographical knowledge.
• Have no more than 6 points on your Driving Licence (With no; DD, DR or IN convictions due to insurance purposes only).
• Demonstrate excellent punctuality and reliability.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Be able to work under your own initiative or as part of a thriving team.
• Demonstrate a high standard of the attention to detail.
• Be able to demonstrate basic literate and numeracy skills.

Qualifications and Certification:

• UK Full Driving Licence
• Minimum of 1 Year Driving Experience
• Minimum of 1 Year Delivery Experience
