Full time position, Flexi hours subject to business needs - covering both our sandwich vans and ice cream van sales
Enthusiastic and personable individual required to drive company van (manual).
£22,000 salary, with an increase after 6 months probation, plus a commission scheme based on sales
Job Purpose
Delivering and selling quality hot and cold food to businesses in one of our Sandwich Van. Some food preparation required etc. Plus covering our ice cream van bookings for weddings/events
Job Description
· Responsible for keeping the catering van clean, tidy, and well stocked
· Food preparation each morning to stock the van according to requirements
Selling a range of products to businesses/staff
· Maintain good client relationships as well as developing new ones.
· To assist in delivering corporate lunch buffets to our corporate clients when required, ensuring timescales are met and delivery is in a personable and friendly manner
· Liaising with the Operations Team to review and plan the logistics for the route on a daily basis
· Loading and unloading the van in a timely manner
· Maintaining standards within the company vehicles, particularly around cleanliness of the vehicle etc
· Accurately complete mileage logs each day
· To take cash/card payments and log all figures accurately
· Accurately record all sales daily and report figures at the end of each shift
· Demonstration of great time management skills to ensure your routes are achieved and on schedule
· A good knowledge of the local area is required
· You will be a trustworthy and reliable member of the team
· To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure safe working practices are followed. Any problems should be reported to the Head Chef
· Disposing of rubbish in the appropriate places
