Van Driver

We are working with a local family-owned business based in the Lymington area of Hampshire, who are an award winning food production company and are looking for a Van Driver to carry out deliveries across the South and also be able to do duties within the stores area when required. This is a temporary position until early September and there could be a possibility this could go on longer depending on the workload. For 36 years they have been producing and supplying the local area with high quality food products, this is a fantastic opportunity to join their team.
For this Van Driver role their will be various tasks including:
- Picking and preparing goods for next day deliveries within a cold store environment
- Cleaning and tidying the yard and production areas
- Manual handling
- Washing the company vans when required
- Making deliveries to various customers and businesses using the company van
- Assisting the production team in any other duties
All PPE is required including a cold store suit, head gear, gloves and boots which is provided by the company on your first day.
Applicants must have a cheerful personality, the ability to work at a fast pace and have recent experience of working as a Van Driver.
Working hours are Monday - Friday from 8am until 5pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break)
The pay rate for this role is £12.18 per hour, paid weekly in arrears.
