Job Summary
We are looking for Driver/Salespersons both part time and full time roles available. Working days will be from between 10am to 8pm. Your core days will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which you will be expected to work. Working days can be arranged as we don't expect anyone to work 7 days a week but you may be needed to fill in other days doing a minimum of 40 hours a week.
The successful candidates will be operating an ice cream van trading on established rounds and/or building up a new daily round as well as trading at events when needed.
Full training given as required on operation of machines.
You may be asked to operate the van either on site or at an event.
Being able to commit to the unsocial hours is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serving ice-creams from a whippy machine
- Serving slushes, drinks and lollies
- Driving on established rounds and helping to build new ones
- Keeping the van clean, tidy and properly stocked
- General duties will also include whippy and slush machine cleaning as well as helping to keep the depot clean
Qualifications and Skills
- Have a full clean driving licence, towing licence an advantage
- Be polite, clean and presentable and enjoy working with the public
- Have good customer service skills and good mental arithmetic
- References may be required
