Description
Morgan Construction and Environmental Ltd. is looking for a Bus Driver to join our team of industry professionals in our construction projects in Alberta. The Bus Driver will be responsible for transporting our field staff to various job sites across the province while adhering to company policies and provincial transportation regulations. Our company specializes in oilfield construction, remediation, and reclamation, and we are committed to providing safe and efficient services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company-owned bus and transport field staff to various job sites across Alberta, up to 48 passengers.
- Adhere to all provincial transportation regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and reliability.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, fuel purchases, and mileage.
- Assist field staff with loading and unloading of equipment and tools from the bus.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 Alberta driver's license with air brake endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial driving.
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations or accidents.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Familiarity with provincial transportation regulations and company policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be willing to labour as the job scope requires
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day
- Must be able to work day or night shifts
- Must have CSTS-09 and OSSA Reginal Orientation OR OSSA BSO OR CSO
- Must have Standard First Aid level C, H2S Alive, Wildlife intermediate
