Xplore Dundee, part of the McGill’s Bus Service Group, is the most significant bus operator in Dundee. We provide a comprehensive network of services across the city with our fleet of increasingly low emission vehicles, connecting the people of Dundee safely.
We are recruiting PCV licence holders and trainee drivers to transport our customers safely and on time to their destinations and we have full time permanent posts available, across a wide variety of shift patterns. We have our own in-house Training Academy that will coach and mentor you to become a fully-fledged PCV driver if you join us as a trainee.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive our vehicles in a safe and considerate manner safely transporting customers on their journeys
- Maintain a high standard of customer care and service presentation
- Collect appropriate fares, ensuring customers scan their QR codes and issue tickets
- Fully assist customers with questions
- Be fully conversant with company rules, regulations and procedures and apply them while on duty
What you’ll need
- Current PCV driving licence and valid CPC card (for PCV licence holders only)
- Current and valid car licence
- Excellent driving skills
- Great numerical skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a courteous and helpful attitude
- Flexible approach to work
