Requirements:

Skills and Knowledge:

Operates passenger carrying commercial motor vehicles of 30 feet in length.
Knows New Orleans local geography, directions, and traffic laws.
Enjoys engaging visitors, answering questions, and offering travel advice.
Demonstrates patience, tolerance, and sensitivity to guests and colleagues.
Exceptional verbal communication skills to handle customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

Duties:

Operating tour buses in a safe, calm, and respectful manner - obeying all traffic laws in normal and in difficult driving conditions.
Following a pre-planned route in accordance with the detailed time schedules.
Working closely with Tour Host to deliver a smooth-paced tour, in-sync with the tour narrative
Greeting visitors in an energetic, enthusiastic and professional manner.

Qualifications:

Must possess and carry a CDL, Class B, with Passenger Endorsement.
Must obtain a CPNC permit issued by the City of New Orleans.
Must have 2-3 years of experience operating passenger vehicles, 30 feet in length or greater.
High School education or higher.
