Van Driver
Topsham
£10.50ph rising to £11.50ph after 2 weeks
12 Week Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for Van Drivers on a temp to perm basis at a leading foodservice distributor in Topsham.
As a delivery driver you will be part of a passionate team that distribute to restaurants, hotels, schools, colleges, spa’s and much more throughout the South West. This is a customer facing role and customer service is essential for the role as your day will be spent delivering to chef’s and managers. Products are locally sourced and the company prides itself in doing everything they can for their customers.
You will be provided each morning with your van (Mercedes Sprinter) alongside, your daily route schedule, fuel card and you will assist in the loading of your vehicle. You can expect up to 30 drops per day with many of the team finishing around midday after a 4am start.
Ideal candidates will:
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
- Excellent levels of customer service and delivery
- Be well presented at all times
- Will represent the company brand and its values
Basic Working Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Saturday, 4am – 1pm (approx.)
- Day off in week if required
Successful candidates we be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
