Job Responsibilities: To support the Administrative Shared Service Center and the units it serves both directly and indirectly. This is done by 1) overseeing the proper accounting of day-to-day transactional activity; 2) preparing monthly reports and contracts; 3) preparing and reviewing monthly, annual, and ad hoc managerial reports with support units and the Director and other duties as needed to support the effective operations of the Center.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
  • Generally accepted accounting principles and practices
  • Budget techniques
  • Computer systems and software (i.e., Excel, Banner)
  • Customer service practices

Skill & Ability to:
  • Research, compile and analyze data, providing a high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Understand budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts.
  • Prioritize, organize, and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, interacting in a supportive manner with faculty, staff, and outside agencies.
  • Communicate information clearly, concisely, and accurately to others, exercising tact, patience, discretion, and professional demeanor to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Use computers and applicable software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and other proprietary software.
