Silk & Maple are looking for a part time Bridal Studio Assistant & Stylist!
This role will be filled by an individual who is passionate about customer experience, weddings & fashion. Experience within bridal is not essential nor preferred, but a background in customer facing roles is required.
The role is part-time, with a flexible weekday rota but weekend availability is required.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assist Brides in finding the perfect bridal gown and accessories.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Attend Wedding Fairs representing Silk & Maple.
Requirements:
- Weekend availability is essential.
- Great team working skills, as will be working in a small close knit team.
- Passion for people, weddings & bridal fashion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The role requires a good level of computer literacy, so a basic understanding is necessary, but training on in-house systems will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of different dress styles, fabrics, and alterations is a bonus!
- Have a creative spark!

- GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
