Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time Sales Consultant to join our boutique.
We have a wonderful, friendly team. We expect all of our staff to be team players and be able to offer an outstanding level of customer service to every bride and her guests. Our Sales Consultants are experts in assisting brides with choosing a wedding gown that is perfect for them as well as offering advice on perfecting their bridal look to perfection with accessories and alterations. All of our Sales Consultants are passionate about weddings and helping brides to have the most magical time when choosing their wedding dress. The role is fast paced and physically demanding as we have a lot of dresses and some of them are very heavy. You therefore need bags of energy and enthusiasm!
We expect excellent customer service at all times. You will also need to be computer literate as administration tasks are a key element of the role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leading bridal appointments helping brides to find their dream wedding dress and styling their bridal look to perfection.
- Helping brides into and out of bridal gowns.
- Advising on and selling accessories.
- Assisting with deliveries, dress steaming and re-stocking. Following quality control guidelines, making sure that our dresses are immaculate at all times.
- Ensuring and maintaining a consistently high presentation of the boutique at all times.
- Point of contact for brides and suppliers providing daily relationship management via telephone, face to face and e-mail.
- Organising and prioritising the appointment diary.
- Being involved with running in-store events and designer trunk shows.

IMPORTANT NOTE - As the position requires helping brides in a state of undress, for reason of decency, we will only accept applications from female candidates. These roles are exempt from the Equality Act 2010.
Hours: Approx 20-22hrs per week spread over two week days (9.45am - 5.00pm) plus 2-3 Saturdays per month (8.45am - 5.30pm).
Salary: Highly competitive plus generous commission structure
