About me

I started my career at the Royal Opera House, as the very first Costume & Footwear Technician Apprentice. After a stint as a seamstress at a bridal boutique in Central London, I started working at Robert Allsopp & Associates, where I created costumes for TV, Film & Theatre. I specialised as a milliner creating headdresses for Disney's Aladdin, creating over 150 intricately beaded headdresses for four new productions around the world. After launching Unveiled by Sophie in 2017, I've taken the business from making veils in my bedroom to being stocked in 4 retailers, featured in Vogue and most recently working on celebrity weddings covered in OK magazine.

The next phase of Unveiled by Sophie is one of growth, with my husband who is now onboard as our COO. The role is based in our 1570's cottage on the outskirts of the Cotswolds.

Benefits

  • Free on-site parking
  • Real Living Wage
  • Work in a cosy 1570s cottage
