Job description

Ash’s Builders is seeking to hire a brick layer for our building team in Bradford. This is a temporary position with scope to become a permanent contract. A competitive salary is offered, plus further benefits.

Duties include:
Prepare and set up brick, stone, and other masonry surfaces for brickwork, stone work, and other construction materials.

• Mason work including: laying bricks, setting bricks, trowels, plasters, stonemasons tools.
• Use of hand tools such as chisels, pneumatic hammers, power tools, etc (tools can be provided however own tools preferred).
• Perform routine maintenance on existing masonry structures to ensure they are in good repair.
• To repair and install masonry products including bricklaying materials such as brick, stone, concrete, or block.
• To repair and install interior and exterior masonry surfaces including brick or stone walls or fences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Previous experience is preferred.

• Experience repairing brick or stone surfaces including brick or stone walls or fences.
• Experience using hand tools.

Expected start date: Sept 2023

Job Types: Permanent, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Salary: £80.00-£150.00 per day
