Job description
Ash’s Builders is seeking to hire a brick layer for our building team in Bradford. This is a temporary position with scope to become a permanent contract. A competitive salary is offered, plus further benefits.
Duties include:
Prepare and set up brick, stone, and other masonry surfaces for brickwork, stone work, and other construction materials.
- Mason work including: laying bricks, setting bricks, trowels, plasters, stonemasons tools.
- Use of hand tools such as chisels, pneumatic hammers, power tools, etc (tools can be provided however own tools preferred).
- Perform routine maintenance on existing masonry structures to ensure they are in good repair.
- To repair and install masonry products including bricklaying materials such as brick, stone, concrete, or block.
- To repair and install interior and exterior masonry surfaces including brick or stone walls or fences.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Previous experience is preferred.
- Experience repairing brick or stone surfaces including brick or stone walls or fences.
- Experience using hand tools.
Expected start date: Sept 2023

Salary: £80.00-£150.00 per day
