Job description
The Sir Thomas Hotel in the heart of Liverpool City Centre are recruiting for a friendly experienced Breakfast Waiter to join our team, working between 7.00 am and 11.00 am five days out of seven Monday to Sunday inclusive.
Job Role:
- Provide a high standard of service both in terms of welcome and waiter service.
- Provide a positive and friendly customer experience by interacting with patrons.
- Serve customers - prepare the breakfast dining areas, provide waiter service, and clear away.
- Perform the tasks of order taking and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
- Take orders and deliver promptly to the kitchen area.
- Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
- Collecting payments for drinks served and providing change as needed.
- Any other reasonable request as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
Work Experience
Experience of food and beverage service would be advantageous
