Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure to maintain a personal attitude of a high standard and quality, which produce efficiency and productivity of the department, ensure that opening and closing are completed as per agreed standards.- Ensure that the restaurant is set up properly for each service, that the team members are following grooming standards and that all the service stations are fully stocked, clean and free of damage.
- Lead the team to ensure they provide polite and efficient service at all times, ensuring daily briefing are conducted, opening and closing duties and assigned tasks are completed, preparing floor plan, focusing on customer service.
- Monitor the quality of products and service via spot-checks, quality checks, observation and feedback.
- Assist with clearing, re-setting tables, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and other operational duties when necessary.
- Monitor clock in and out (or sign-in and sign-out for agency) of the team members on a daily basis and take corrective actions when needed;
- Deal with guest complaints and seek a positive outcome.
- Communicate effectively with the team, peers and higher management.
- Assist in other Food & Beverage areas as and when required.
