This stylish hotel is off the M65, ideally located on the border of Hyndburn and Blackburn located within the Frontier Retail Park. What we're looking for: We are seeking a confident and interpersonal individual who has a passion for all things hospitality! You will love working with people and will be a positive person with natural leadership skills. You will ideally have previous supervisory experience working within a hospitality setting and will have the skills to motivate a team around you. You will be eager to learn and have the ability to pick up tasks and new skills. You will be confident in speaking with guests and resolving queries quickly and efficiently whilst coaching and empowering the team around you. Day in the life of: The Breakfast Supervisor will be a responsible individual with the ability to run shifts, which would include cash/till management, dealing with any escalated team or guest concerns and directing the team during service. Your supervisory duties will include supporting with recruitment and HR tasks such as interviewing, onboarding and training new team members. You'll also uphold and instil the right ethos and culture among the team. The Breakfast Supervisor will handle escalated guest questions, queries and swift complaint resolution. And will carry out general supervisor duties such as admin tasks. You may also be trained as a muti-skilled hotel duty manager and carry out duty management shifts and tasks when required. Your hands-on duties will help to drive revenue where possible by letting guests know about all products and services available to them, upgrading breakfast types, and upselling lunch and/or dinner onto their stay. Example key responsibilitiesCoaching and mentoring the team.Recruitment and onboarding of new team members.Duty management duties.Reviewing and supporting with the weekly rota.Cash and card handling duties.Act as a brand and hotel ambassador.Leading and running shifts, this will include carrying out pre-shift briefs and delegating tasks accordingly.Managing escalated customer complaints and queries in a professional manner and in line with brand guidelines.Supporting the department manager with stock ordering, controlling and rotation.Carrying out all Food and Beverage Assistant duties, including direct front line service.
