We are currently seeking an organised, motivating and passionate Breakfast Manager to work alongside our incredibly talented Strathearn Restaurant Breakfast team within the Food and Beverage Division.
The on target earning potential for this role is £38,448 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £32,448, plus a qualified estimate of £6,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Playing an instrumental, hands on role to the successful running of the breakfast service
You’ll engage and motivate those around you; leading a team of 30, consisting of assistant managers, supervisors, and waiters, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to offer the best breakfast experience possible
Collaboratively working with our Strathearn Restaurant Manager & culinary team, you’ll seek for ways to innovate our breakfast buffet experience whilst finding solutions to continuously improve the guests journey at breakfast
Having a presence within the room; you’ll be instilling a culture of continuous development and innovation, identifying new ways to surprise and delight our guests and our people
Planning for success, you’ll meet with the department Head Chef daily to discuss the buffet, a la carte offering and guests’ food requirements; highlighting guests with allergies, along with any other food service requirements foreseeing any expected challenges
Monitoring and controlling equipment and products, you’ll ensure that all resources are handled in line with company procedure as well as co-ordinating any maintenance issues throughout the department
Attending to guest concerns in a dynamic environment where no two issues are the same; dealing with a wide variety of challenges head on and seeking for opportunities to resolve issues positively
You’ll attend weekly rota and business review meetings, as well as evaluate the department’s staffing and operational requirements daily
Developing strong relationships with other departments across the resort, you will help to inspire a culture with a shared vision and continuous development
Conduct detailed briefings to your team that outline the order of service for each event
Delivering warm and thoughtful dining experiences, you’ll lead from the front taking full responsibility in creating personalised experiences that exceed guest expectations in every way
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
Experience of 5* luxury breakfast operation would be ideal, however having a great attitude and strong restaurant knowledge is essential
You enjoy the theatre and stage, but are modest, understated and without ego; you care for others as much as you care for yourself and role model this consistently
You are energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations. You’re resilient, and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
You possess a positive, professional, and courteous attitude, always see a glass half-full, and are consistent in your mood, manner, and behaviour
You intuitively put yourself in the shoes of others whether that be your guests or your people; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, you recognise that to this person it’s likely a first
You’ll be an early bird, you’ll be expected to be available during the operational hours of 7am-4pm, working flexibly during the week and weekends, leading from the front and by example
You have an exceptional and discerning eye for detail and take pride in fixing the small things that make a big difference
You’ll bring a strong people focus and the desire to grow and nurture team members through coaching and training
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
